Violette_FR Plume Blush is a matte cheek blush with a feather-light feel. It is picked up and blended like a cream, and on the skin it diffuses like a powder, creating a delicately blurred flush, as if the colour had been applied with an airbrush. Violette's inspiration was velatura, a Renaissance painting technique in which thin, translucent layers build light and depth. Hence this soft veil of colour, which gives a soft focus effect. Powdery pigments are suspended in a flexible gel-cream base, so the formula blends well and then settles into a matte finish. The colour can be built in layers, application is easy and it is hard to overdo.

How to use

1. Gently pick up the product with a round, dense brush, lightly stippling it over the surface of the blush. Fingertips can also be used.
2. Sweep the colour across the whole cheek, then stipple additional colour onto the apples of the cheeks, adding layers until the chosen intensity is reached.
3. Blend outwards with short strokes so that the colour melts seamlessly into the skin.

Ombré effect: blend a neutral shade, e.g. Latte Praline, upwards and outwards along the cheek, then stipple the second shade onto the apples of the cheeks and blend outwards.
