Tatcha The Longevity Serum is a multi-purpose face serum that supports skin resilience, helps delay visible signs of ageing and gives the complexion a smoother, stronger look. Pump-dispensed, it can be used in the morning, in the evening or at both times, on its own or paired with another serum. The inspiration is nuchi-gusui, the Okinawan tradition of a diet rich in herbs and plants, and the skincare here is meant to help skin flourish through the years ahead.

Study results
According to the manufacturer, in a clinical study involving 39 participants: immediately after use, 100% of participants had an improved skin barrier, and 90% had improved texture and hydration. After one week, 100% of participants had visibly firmer and smoother skin, with better texture, softness and elasticity. After 2 weeks, 100% of participants had an improved look of fine lines, and after 4 weeks a 25% improvement in visible firmness and smoothness of the skin was recorded.
Formula
The formula is made without parabens, synthetic fragrance compositions, mineral oil, sulphate detergents, phthalates, urea, DEA and TEA. The manufacturer states that the serum is dermatologist-tested, non-comedogenic, vegan and not tested on animals.
How to use
- During the morning or evening skincare routine, or both, dispense 1 to 2 pumps of serum.
- Gently massage into the skin.
- The serum can be used on its own or layered with another Tatcha serum chosen for its action; when layering, combine no more than two types of serum and allow each layer time to absorb fully.
