The skin's moisture barrier (stratum corneum) has a brick and mortar structure. The "mortar" is a fatty mixture composed of **ceramides, cholesterol, and fatty acids**. When this mixture is compromised, skin can be simultaneously dry and oily, overly sensitive, or acne-prone.

Lipid Gold is precisely formulated to **mimic and replenish** this fatty mixture, allowing the barrier to regenerate and restore the skin to its healthy, resilient state.
