Kanebo Suisai Beauty Clear Green Powder Wash is an enzyme facial cleansing powder in single-use capsules, in the version intended for blemish-prone skin. To the pair of enzymes shared by the whole line it adds an exfoliating powder and an extract of Centella asiatica. The formula contains no added fragrance.

Key ingredients

Centella asiatica — the moisturising ingredient of this version

As moisturising ingredients the pack lists Centella Asiatica Leaf/Stem Extract and Carrageenan. It is Centella, marked CICA, that is highlighted on the front of the pack and sets this version apart from the other powders in the line. The full formula also contains Coix Lacryma-Jobi (Job's Tears) Seed Extract.

Exfoliating powder

The second element specific to the Green version. The manufacturer lists its composition: Cellulose, Zea Mays (Corn) Starch, magnesium, potassium and silica compounds, and a Sodium Maleate/Vinyl Alcohol copolymer. It removes excess sebum and old surface cells.

Two enzymes and amino-acid cleansers

The core shared by the whole Beauty Clear line: protease breaks down protein soil, lipase breaks down sebum. The cleansing layer is built on Sodium Lauroyl Glutamate and Sodium Myristoyl Glutamate.

How to use

Empty one capsule into the palm — open it from either of the two sealed ends. Add a small amount of water or lukewarm water and lather thoroughly until a dense foam forms; a foaming net may be used. Wash the face with the foam, then rinse thoroughly. The product is suitable for daily use, with frequency adjusted to the condition of the skin.
